Father Louis Lambrechts started the business in 1966 together with his wife Lisette Schoonjans. Over time, his eldest daughter Irène, along with her husband Daniël Vanderlinden and her brother Henri, took over the business. Today, the company is also managed by the third generation, Kris and Sara Vanderlinden, the children of Irène and Daniël.
